Located less than an hour north of Lyon, Beaujolais has 12 AOC and 10 Grands Crus, a production of 1 million hectoliters installed on granite soils in the North and limestone in the South. 97% of the production is concentrated on the Gamay grape variety, which you will be led to discover along these beautiful roads marked by these magnificent golden stones.

The Monts du Lyonnais to the west of Lyon obtained the AOC distinction in 1984 only with an almost exclusive production of around 22,000 hectoliters. A link between Beaujolais and the Rhône Valley, this small wine region is located a few minutes from Lyon and has treasures well-kept since antiquity.
